The Art Porch: Textile patchworks with Sandra Lundberg!

As part of The Art Porch, a drop-in activity replacing Tensta Konsthall’s Women’s Café this summer, we invite you to a workshop led by textile artist Sandra Lundberg from the P.A.N.G. collective.

We’ll make our own fabric patches for expressive or more discreet repairs. Bring a garment with holes or stains that you want to hide. We’ll sew by hand using simple stitches and a few select embroidery stitches.

The workshop is free and no prior experience is required! The Art Porch takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, June 25 through August 22, at Tensta konsthall.

Sandra Lundberg studied textile art at HDK Steneby and holds a master’s degree from Konstfack. In her practice, she explores abstract, organic forms in relation to nature and often works with sculptural forms and upcycling. About P.A.N.G: https://www.pangneedlework.se/
