The Art Porch 2023

Summer is almost here and as usual we are delighted to announce the opening of The Art Porch together with the National Association of Swedish Handicraft Societies in Stockholm. This year’s theme is paper-works! Decoupage (cutting) and marbling with glue. Historically paper has been considered a precious material but whereas today we are surrounded by paper in a number of different qualities. Therefore, it is terrific for reuse of all sorts. Let’s get inspired by paper craft from all countries, for instance Japanese origami. The Art Porch is a drop-in activity and free of charge and replaces the language Café and the Women’s café during the summer weeks. The program runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 13 - 16 from 20.6 to 17.8.
