Fireworks, coca-cola, mentos and green fingers

On Friday 29th May we opened two exhibitions in the project room. One was a presentation of the ongoing TK production titled 16304/ a collaboration between students from the local Tensta High school and the architecture Department of the Royal Technical School who also showed their own project. It was great and lively evening that included everything from coca-cola mentos architectural drawings to a layering of maps from New York on the back streets of Tensta. An earlier version of instant architecture had been made using fireworks check out the video.

There was also a winner in designing a new public work for Tensta in the form of an allotment. So now we have another space at the art centre a garden! The ground has been broken, the earth has been turned so watch this space for more news on our latest and greenest site for art!
